We have had a great year! We have enjoyed getting to know each other and learning lots of exciting new things this year in Nursery School!! It’s hard to believe our school year together is about to come to a close. It was such a pleasure to get to know all of the children and their families. We will miss each one of them, but we know that they will all be happy and successful in their prekindergarten classrooms next year!
This week, we will close our last week of classes with a “Season of Summer” theme. We will learn more about the signs and activities of the summer season and discuss summer vacations. We will also learn more about water safety and sun safety and how to keep ourselves safe in the summertime. We will create crafts for Father’s Day and continue practicing our songs for our closing program. Our religion lesson this week is, “Jesus Is With Me Everywhere I Go” from Faith Alive. On Friday, our last day of classes, we will celebrate with a Luau themed celebration day and a special visit on the playground by the ice cream truck. Each child will get to pick their own ice cream treat to enjoy!
