I hope everyone enjoyed our class trip to the LI Aquarium last week. It was so nice to learn about the animals that live in our oceans and experience them firsthand.
April showers bring May flowers! This week we will learn more about the science behind rain showers and about how the rain is good for the plants. Uu is for umbrella and in the middle of the word, bUgs. We will explore letter Uu and paint umbrellas. We will discuss the special clothing we wear in the rain. We will also count raindrops and the dots on lady bugs. We will read stories about bugs including, “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” and explore the life cycle of an insect. Our class has a special visit to the critter room scheduled for this week. We will see the reptiles, turtles, frogs and insects we have living in our critter room here at Trinity. Soon we should be receiving our caterpillars . We will observe them as they transform into butterflies. Our Bible lesson this week is “God gives us rain” and “Jesus quiets a storm.”
