This week in our class we will complete the “Orchard Harvest” unit of study. We will learn about “Skins & Shells.” While learning about “Skins & Shells,” children will use their critical thinking skills by exploring how to eat food that is inside a shell, a peel or a skin. We will discover more about the fruit and nuts from the walnut, chestnut, avocado and banana trees.
We are very excited to be celebrate Thanksgiving together. In class, we are learning all about the holiday, turkeys and the ways in which we are thankful to God. All students are invited to enjoy the school Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 24th. Morning and Tuesday / Thursday students should be picked up at 12:30 pm this day.
We are all looking forward to celebrating the holiday season together and look forward to all the coming festivities. Our class will perform their Christmas program on Friday, December 10th at 9:30 am in the chapel. Friday, December 17th will be our final day of class before the Christmas break and our birthday party for Jesus celebration.
