I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend and had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
This week we start our last unit in our Big Day Curriculum. The theme of the unit is Moving On and our first topic is “Going New Places”. Our vocabulary words will be: travel, trip, and visit. We will read In Our Country, We’re Going On a Lion Hunt, and Can You Say Peace.
This week we will also be learning about ladybugs. We started making a ladybug in art last week which we will finish this week. We will read The Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle and we will learn insect parts: head, abdomen, thorax, antennae, legs, and wings.
For Jesus time we will talk about how Jesus always promises to be with me. We will continue practicing our closing program songs as well.
In math we will continue practicing adding numbers.
