March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb… although I have to say that Sunday certainly felt like lamb weather! Let’s hope for continued nice weather so we can get outside and stretch our legs.
This week we will start a new unit in our Big Day curriculum called Growing up Healthy and our first topic will be the 5 Senses. We will read Look, Listen, and Learn, Good Food, and My Five Senses. Our vocabulary words will be: senses, hear, see, sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch.
For math we will learn #19, and review different ways to make shapes.
During Jesus time this week we will continue to discuss Jesus’s miracles, this week focusing on Jesus feeding the 5,000. We will also begin learning the Lord’s Prayer for Lent and we will visit chapel on Wednesday.
Our letter for this week is Tt. We will practice writing the letter T, we will make a list of T words (hope we can beat last week’s list of 124 words!), and we will have Tt show and tell on Friday.
This week we will also start a St. Patrick’s Day craft.
