Welcome to the last full week of January! I don’t know about you, but January always feels like the longest month to me. This week will be a short week though, with parent/teacher conferences on Friday. Thank you all for signing up for a time slot, and I look forward to seeing you all on Friday.
This week we will read The Mitten and The Hat, both from Jan Brett. We will compare the books using a Vann diagram and then create a mitten craft.
For Jesus time this week we will learn about baptism when Jesus was baptized.
Our letter of the week is Oo. We will practice writing Oo, create a list of Oo words, and have Oo show-and-tell on Thursday this week.
We are getting lots of exercise indoors using the tricycles in the gym each morning and we are having so much fun in the classroom playing with ice, penguins, and shaving cream in the sensory table!
