Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed some fresh air this weekend.
This week is week 2 in our Big Day curriculum, “What’s in the Sky?” We will read Little Cloud, Mommy’s Little Star, You and Me Together, and ABC I like Me. Our vocabulary will be: moon, sky, stars, sun, and clouds. We will make a Little Cloud art project by using our imaginations and finger-painting a cloud just like Eric Carle did.
This week we will review #7 in math.
Our letter for this week will be Yy. We will read “Yodeling Yak” and learn a Yy song. We will also make a Y is for Yellow Yarn project.
For Jesus time we will read the story of Philip and the Ethiopian. We are also working on learning the Lord’s Prayer a little bit every day. We have been singing some fun Jesus time songs like “If I were a Butterfly”, and “Oh What a Miracle”.
This Thursday the 22nd is Earth Day. We will read a Weekly Reader about Earth Day, plant some seeds, and weather permitting, go for a nature walk.
