Welcome to another exciting week! I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather and the long weekend.
We finished our lesson on the letter F and farm/farm animals. The children really enjoyed making popcorn dance. It was so much fun seeing how excited and interested they were in the experiment. I hope they told you all about it.
This week will be equally exciting with our new letter P and learning all about pumpkins.
We will learning the sound of P and words that begin with it. We will have a scavenger hunt to find the words beginning with P.
We will also be learning about pumpkins. Later in the week we will be dissecting a pumpkin and examining the insides. The children will be learning the parts of a pumpkin as well.
We will be reading”From Seed to Pumpkin’ and “The Little Pumpkin Patch”.
For Jesus time we will be learning the “The Pumpkin Prayer”, and we will recite it as we carve our pumpkin.I will send a copy of it home for those who would like to do this activity at home.
