Time is flying by…..We are already in mid-November!

We had a lot of fun last week learning about the letter L, leaves and going on a nature walk. We used the leaves we found to do leaf printing and we also made leaf lions.

This week will be learning about the letter T and about turkeys. We will be doing a very exciting family activity and we will be disguising a turkey for Thanksgiving. I will be sending home the template for you to do as a family. All you have to do is disguise the turkey as anything you would like it to be example:cupcake, minion. I will be displaying these proudly in our ECC hallway. For religion we will be talking about giving thanks to God for all he has given to us.

On Monday, November 14, Hicksville Fire department will be coming to teach us about fire safety. The children will be going outside to look at a fire truck and will learn what they need to do in case of a fire.

We will be reading, “T is for Turkey” and “Plump and Perky Turkey”

Please remember the $6 for the Santa gift in now due. Please send in ASAP.

Wednesday we will be going to chapel and library so please send in the library book they took out last week.

Thank you and enjoy your Sunday!
