With the start of a new quarter come a multitude of changes here in the lab. Kindergarten is working on learning how to scroll and navigate a webpage, while First Grade is learning how to find a specific website. Second Grade is starting work on a short typing project as an introduction to MS Word. Third and Fourth Grade took a virtual field trip to Plymouth Plantation and learned a lot about the Pilgrims and Native Americans. They are now working on writing a letter asking more questions while sharing some things about their lives.
Fifth grade through Eighth Grade have started working on a Digital Story Book project. Students will work in class in small groups to create their own digital children’s book. They will be using MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Paint, Adobe Photoshop, and some other programs to create their story. I’m looking forward to seeing their completed projects, some of their ideas and storyboards are very creative.
