Happy Half Way There!
This quarter we start our school wide coding unit. Students will learn the basics of computer coding using a “Block” style of coding. Based on their grade level students will be able to rewrite the game Flappy Bird, or even create their own mini game. The students have really shown an interest in learning how to code. All the coding activities that we do can be found on code.org. I encourage you to take some time a check out this awesome site with your children. Computer are here to say and coding is going to become a huge part or future industries, so take a chance and check out what its all about.
