Welcome back to school to all of the students and families that will be sharing the 4th grade experience this year!
We have spent the first week getting to know one another and learning the rules and expectations of our classroom. The students’ desks and supplies are organized and they are ready to begin exploring all of our subjects next week.
With new Math and ELA series in place for this year, it was necessary for me to administer some skills exams this week to assess student abilities and plan accordingly. As I informed the students, these tests will not be graded, they are being used as a way for me to begin assessing their levels and abilities.
I’m looking forward to meeting the families and filling you in on more details about our school year during Back to School night, Tuesday, September 16th!
