Welcome to Art
I’m so happy to be back with all our wonderful TLS Students! I have already met with the Middle School classes where we discussed new rules and routines. I am looking forward to meeting Gr. K – 5 students this week and the ECC classes the following week.
ALL STUDENTS (In-school & Remote) should have the art materials listed on the ART SUPPLY LIST. This is posted on the school’s website under PARENT PAGES/SUPPLY LISTS. REMOTE students should have their supplies and paper readily available for their art class time.
ALL STUDENTS (In-school & Remote) should join their ART GOOGLE CLASSROOMS by accepting my invitation. These invitations were sent to you the other day. I will be sending art lesson resources through the Art Google Classroom platform to ALL REMOTE STUDENTS IN GR. K-8 and MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS. PLEASE make sure you check your Art Google Classroom each day for any messages or lesson material.
ALL Middle School Students were told to have their chrome books charged for class and ready to go. I will inform Gr. 3-5 students ahead of time should they need chrome books for class. I know right now they are just beginning to learn how to use them. It will take a little time before they are really comfortable using them.
REMOTE STUDENTS should make an art portfolio to store their art projects in a safe place at home. This can easily be done by using a sheet of poster board and folding it in half. They will also need to take a picture of their art project and send it to me through the Google Classroom platform for grading and comments. Please view the technology tutorials made by Mr. Stainkamp that are posted on the school’s website homepage, should you need assistance with this.
Lastly, ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS were asked to get one, large, empty cereal box for art class, due the week of 9/21.
Please contact me if you have any questions at [email protected].
Looking forward to a fun year creating together!
