This Week in Art:
ECC Classes will finish up their Monet Lily Ponds by adding tissue paper lilies to their painted paper plate ponds.
Kindergarten will be drawing bodies to their “Leaf People” Collages. Then they will glue yarn and google eyes to their “Leaf People” heads.
Gr. 1 students will glue all the pieces onto their Mixed Media Hot Air Balloon Collages this week.
Gr. 2 will continue coloring their beautiful Folk Art drawings using vibrant colors and patterns.
Gr. 3 will glue features onto their egg carton spiders and bats this week.
Gr. 4 will enjoy learning about the art of American artist Norman Rockwell. This lesson will culminate in a drawing of an everyday activity.
Gr. 5 will learn about the art of Optical Illusions and create their own Worm Tunnel Optical Illusion drawings.
Gr. 6 needs one final class to finish up their “Falling From….” drawings.
Gr. 7 will start coloring their Fall, warm colored Organic Shapes drawing using oil pastels.
Gr. 8 will create a Comic Strip or drawing using their Finger Prints and markers.
Art Elective students will be adding the final details to their 3D Paper Mache Letter.
