This Week in Art
PreK Classes will be painting their bird’s nests.
Kindergarten will read Mouse Paint and learn about the color wheel.
1st Grade will review primary and secondary colors by painting a color wheel turtle.
2nd Grade will be using all the primary and secondary colors to make a Color Chameleon Collage.
3rd Grade will discuss the difference between the art elements shape and form. Then they will learn about the artist D. Chihuly and his mini macchia blown glass sculptures.
4th and 5th Grade will not meet this week due to the Teacher Conference Day.
6th Grade will learn about the harmony of Music and Art. More about this project coming next week.
7th Grade will continue working on their circle cities using one point perspective.
8th Grade will discuss color theory and how to apply it by making a colored construction paper collage.
Art Elective willl learn about Neurographic Art. More about the project next week.
