This Week in Art:
Both PreK classes will start their sheep project. Kindergarten will learn how to draw people using shapes and lines. First Grade will learn about the Russian artist Kandinsky and how his paintings showed movement. Our Second graders will learn about folk artist Heather Galler’s colorful paintings.
The Third Grade class will continue their drawings of a vase of beautiful mums in the Impressionist style. Fourth Grade will learn about the American artist Norman Rockwell and his paintings of ordinary people’s lives. The Fifth graders will continue working on their batiks using glue and watercolor.
Sixth Grade will be finishing up their shoe paintings this week. Our Seventh graders will continue working on their Word Art construction paper collages. Eighth Grade will start painting their autumn landscapes. Finally Art Elective will add the final details to their abstract paintings.
