ECC Art Classes: The Daffodil
Kindergarten: this week we will add sequins, beads and gemstones to our African necklaces
Gr. 1: Terra Nova testing/no class
Gr. 2: Bead and Button Seahorse project/based on E. Carle’s book Mister Seahorse
Gr. 3: D. Chihuly/Mini Macchias Students will learn about the glass-blowing techniques of D. Chihuly and view some of his fabulous creations. They will then fashion a mini macchia from a coffee filter they have colored with marker designs.
Gr. 4: Terra Nova testing/no class
Gr. 5: Terra Nova testing/no class
Gr. 6: Portraiture/students will be learning about correct proportions for the face as they draw their partners portrait and color match skin tones and hair.
Gr. 7: Terra Nova testing/no class
Gr. 8: Rotational Symmetry Name Design/students will be tracing their first name in symmetrical patterns of color
ART ELECTIVE: this week we will be using acrylic paint to paint over our Tiki soap bar sculptures
