Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
Science News: Friday is the Vernal Equinox (First day of spring). This means that everywhere on Earth we will have 12 hours of day light and 12 hours of night. Friday marks the first day that the North Pole will begin to see the Sun since December 21st.
7th Grade Life Science: This week we will begin learning about Heredity (Chapter 5 of the Textbook). We will be having a quiz on Section 1 on Thursday.
6th Grade Earth Science: This week we will be continuing to learn about phases of the moon and lunar and solar eclipses. A take home quiz on both of these topics will be sent home with students on Friday. It will be due on Monday! Students will be allowed to use their notes for this quiz.
7th Grade Health: This week we will continue learning about alcohol use and begin learning about drug use and abuse.
Astronomy: This week we will begin memorizing constellations.
