Registration/transportation

School districts have sent out their forms for transportation for next year.  Please make sure you get that back to your district by April 1.  All children must be registered with Trinity before your district will give out textbooks and transportation.  If you have not done so, please send in your re-registration forms with the $250.00 fee so that there will be no disruption in getting books and buses.

Weather Closings and Delays

It seems this winter just will not give up!!  We have a few different avenues that we use to inform parents of weather related delays and closings of school.  First, Mrs. Simone sends out an automated call.  Please make sure we have any phone number changes so we can update our list.  Secondly, I send out an email to all parents indicating the decision on delay or closing.  Third, Channel 12 news covers all of Long Island school closings and delays and Fourth, News12.com carries all the school closings even if you do not have Optimum, you can get News12.com on your Iphone and computer.

YEARBOOK

There is still time to submit Ads and Boosters for the Yearbook. They must be in no later than March 11.

Each year, Trinity Lutheran School has provided a yearbook for each child throughout the school from ECC-8th grade.  This year, because of the rising cost of producing the yearbook, a complimentary issue will only be given out to the graduating 8th grade students.  We will, though, be taking pre-orders for the yearbook at a cost of $35.00 beginning in January for families in ECC-7th Grade who wish to purchase one.

The yearbook contains an individual picture of each child, the official class photos, pictures of teams, clubs, and other groups, and plenty of candid shots.  As you can imagine, each edition is eagerly awaited and becomes a treasured keepsake!

You can add a message to your child in the yearbook by purchasing a booster or an ad.  For just $15, you can place a congratulatory “booster” message.  Or, you can prepare a 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or full-page “ad” with text and photos.  Prices of the ads vary according to size.

You can submit boosters or ads in print or via email ([email protected]).  Emailing your ad or booster can save you time and help ensure your ad appears just the way you intend.  These forms can also be downloaded by visiting the Trinity website at TrinityLI.org under Parent Pages and then all forms.  Please refer to each order form for directions.    Thank you for your support of Trinity Lutheran School.  Yearbook orders and payments are dueMarch 15, 2015.
