REMINDERS:

  1. Trinity’s next open house is this Saturday, March 7th from 12-2pm. If you know someone who is interested in our school, this is a great way to show what we have to offer!
  2. There is a fundraiser pancake breakfast that Trinity is hosting at Applebee’s on March 14th. A note was already sent home with details. Each class is responsible for making a raffle basket for the fundraiser. If you could send your child in with $2 by next Friday, we will use the money to make the basket.
  3. The first grade will be singing at our church service on Sunday, March 15th, at the 10:30 service. Mr. DeVries sent home a note with additional information.
  4. Encourage your child to READ every night to strengthen their skills. Don’t forget you can have them read all different things – the back of a cereal box, a favorite book, a magazine, a comic book, a card, posters. Everything counts as practice!
  5. In order to help your child in math, it would be helpful to practice the basic addition facts daily, especially the doubles facts. This will help them to work quicker and more accurately.
  6. Please be sure to check and sign all your child’s homework each night. This is to make sure that your child understands the concepts being taught in class. It is also important that your child’s work is neat and accurate. Encourage your child to do their best work!
