This week I have been thinking about this verse;

‘I want you to excel also in this gracious gift of giving.’ 2 Corinthians 8;7

There are times when I feel I have given all I can and am empty. As if I have given all my attention, patience, compassion, time, effort, thoughts, and even materials things or money. It does seem sometimes that we spend a good part of our day doing for or giving to others. This verse encourages me to rethink it when I have them.  I think of how God gave His Son for me, and this verse helps push my mind to a better spot and I try to find more of myself to give. This world needs what I can offer, whatever it is. My students and family need what I can give. God wishes for us to be gracious in giving and it’s my desire to attempt this.     I hope this has encouraged you in some small way.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK. Stay warm and safe.     Mrs. Lively
