We continue learning and creating shapes. This week we are observing triangles in our classroom. Help us and ask us to find shapes at home or while driving in the car.
Art: Stamping triangles- please enjoy our shape art in the ECC hallway. We made an ice cream cone with a triangle cone and triangle sprinkles! Trace triangles. We colored a triangle for our shape book.
Jesus Time: Chapel on Tuesday and Wednesday. Jesus goes to school. Songs we are learning: The B-I-B-L-E, Praise Him, My God Is So Great, Deep and Wide.
Language Arts: Bear in a Square by Stella Blackstone, Pick a Circle, Gather Squares by Felicia Sanzari Chernesky, The Shape of Things by Dayle Ann Dodds , The Jacket I Wear by Shirley Neitzel and How Do Dinosaurs Say I m Mad ? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. Alphabet learning center– Learning the letters of the alphabet and sounds.
Movement to Music: Walking to the ABCs, Around in a Circle, Squares in the Air, What a Miracle.
Math: Shape and color Bingo, we count our friends and snowflakes.
Technology: SMART table and computer lab( pm students only)
Attention Parents: Our chocolate has arrived! Cases containing 60 assorted bars are available for sale. The chocolate bars are $1.00 each. Please see your teacher to get some. Thank you for your help!
