Reading: We are reading ‘How To Steal a Dog’. It is a heartwarming story about a girl who steals a dog for the reward money and learns more than she thought she would about caring and friendship.
S.S.:We are reading ‘The Secret Soldier’ about Deborah Sampson who disguised herself as a man and enlisted in the Continental Army during The Revolutionary War. We will be creating ‘history circles’ in which information about various people or events from The Revolutionary War is written and drawn. These will be graded as a classwork grade. Information on 2 people and 2 events is needed by Thursday.
Bible: We will finish reading ‘The Last Holiday Concert’. We will discuss the difference between popularity and leadership, as well as what the Bible has to say about various characters behavior and attitudes. Next verse test;1/29: 1 John 1:9.
