The students had a wonderful time during our visit to Hofstra last week!  It was great to see them ask questions and participate as they examined artifacts from Asia!  Special thanks to Mrs. Meyyerrose, Mrs. Plummer, Ms. McFarlane, Ms. Johnson, Ms. Aycock-West, and Ms. Mason for joining us.  The Hofstra museum educators will be visiting us this Wednesday to get us started with a writing assignment about what we saw at the museum.

We wrapped up our units in the major subject areas last week.  The test grades for Science and Social Studies were excellent overall.  The students are beginning to develop the good study habits that many of us discussed during our conferences in November.

Please see the important notes below regarding our activities for the week!
