The concert Tuesday evening was wonderful. Your children are talented and fun. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with them.

This week I have been thinking about this verse;

But Peter said, ” I don’t have any silver or gold. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”      Acts 3:6

I think this is saying that being generous isn’t really about money or the amount a person gives, it is truly about how you feel in your heart when you give, your attitude. Giving should be driven by compassion and mercy. Peter and John had no money to give that day so long ago, and they knew the man who had come to them really didn’t need money, but healing. I hope that I am aware of those around me, to what they need and will give due to compassion and mercy, not out of pride or just being compelled.    Just something to think about……;

Enjoy this wonderful season……Mrs. Lively
