Mrs. Krass’ afternoon children were able to enjoy playing the bucket drums this week. We are working on keeping a beat!
We are very busy completing our Thanksgiving art projects! We made turkey hats to wear to our “feast”. We also enjoyed making a Thanksgiving ornament listing all the things for which we are thankful to God.
For our feast we made our very own butter from heavy cream to spread on our homemade corn muffins. We also enjoyed applesauce and apple juice.
Language Arts: Over the River by Derek Anderson, Run, Turkey, Run by Diane Mayer, Turkey Day by Grace Maccarone and Thanksgiving is by Louise Borden. Alphabet center and walking to the ABCs.
Movement to Music: The turkey stroll and the turkey wobble.
Math: Counting our friends and the cornucopias on the calendars.
Science: Weather and seasons
Jesus Time: Thank you Jesus for my family and the wonderful world you created.
Trinity’s Santa shop will be in the MPR on December 2,3 and 4th. The nursery classes do not visit as a class , but please feel free to visit with your child before or after class. Please ask the teacher if you have any questions.
Please note: Our Christmas program and class party for both classes will be on Wednesday, December 17th @ 9:15 am. Please bring your student to the classroom at 9 am and then we will meet you up in the chapel for our program. All are welcome! Please speak with your child’s teacher if you have any questions.
