This week in nursery class we had a visit from Nurse Angela. She spoke to the students about the proper way to wash hands and how we should sneeze and cough into our elbows rather than our hands to prevent spreading germs.
We are working on all things turkey! We are making turkey hats and turkey projects for Thanksgiving. We are also practicing holding our pencils and crayons correctly as we follow the lines on our Thanksgiving sheet.
Language Arts: 10 Fat Turkeys by Tony Johnston, Turkey Day by Grace Maccarone and I’m No Turkey by Hans Wilhelm. Learn a poem about leaves.
Movement to Music: The turkey wobble, Hello neighbor, What a miracle and Walking to the ABCs.
Jesus Time: Thank you Lord for….., Chapel with Mrs. Pepitone and Mrs. Evers and a thank you prayer. Being thankful.
Art: Fingerprint colorful fall leaves on a tree.
Math: Counting leaves, friends and cornucopia.
