Thank you to all the parents who were able to make it to our ECC Parent Night. We certainly hope you enjoyed experiencing some of the activities your child participates in at school. A big thanks to the parents who donated refreshments for the evening.
This week in class: It is PURPLE WEEK! Please have your child wear purple on Wednesday and/or Thursday.
Art: I use my ears to hear, make a chef’s hat while we snack on a giant jam sandwich and blue + red = purple finger-paint.
Jesus Time: Creation
Movement to music: Walking to the ABC’s, What a Miracle, Ten Little Fingers and Wheels on the Bus.
Literacy: Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson, Jamberry by Bruce Degen, and The Giant Jam Sandwich by John Vernon Lord.
Math: Counting our friends and pumpkins and discussing our favorite farm animal picture graph.
Science: Blue + red = purple (colored water)
Technology: SMART table activities
