TERRA NOVA TESTING THIS WEEK!!!!!
We will be spending the mornings testing.
We will have ELA or s.s. in the afternoon.
We will work on writing our fictional narratives in ELA and in S.S. we are in chapter 4. The test for ch 4 will be Friday, Oct 24th.
We will be reading a book titled: The Homework Machine. It is a great story of a group of kids who cause and solve a problem while becoming best friends.
Please be sure your child gets a good night sleep and eats a healthy breakfast.
Homework will be lighter and our daily schedule will be different than usual as a result of the Terra Nova tests.
This week I have been thinking about this verse;
Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other: let us show the truth by our actions. 1 John 3: 18
I am thinking that this is telling us that love isn’t just about words or thoughts, it’s about our actions too. I wonder how many times I have said something kind but could have done something kind to go with it.
I hope this encourages you in some small way.
