Class News:
Our new “Star of the Week” is Vivich! He is excited to be our star and we are looking forward to learning about him.

REMINDERS:
- Please be sure that your child has plenty of pencils in school, for many children seem to use them (or lose them) quickly. It would be helpful if you could put his/her name or initials on each pencil.
- If you haven’t done so already, please send in the $10 towards our class party fund. This is to help pay for supplies for our upcoming class parties.
- Please remember that your child will bring home their “R” book every Monday. Inside you will find the high frequency words for that week. It is important that the children practice reading those words and using and reading them in a sentence. This will help with their reading fluency.
- I am asking all parents to email me when you first view my weekly blog on Trinity’s website so that I know you can access it and are reading it each week. I will be updating it every Monday.
- Encourage your child to READ every night to strengthen their skills. Don’t forget you can have them read all different things – the back of a cereal box, a favorite book, a magazine, a comic book, a card, posters. Everything counts as practice!
- This week we will be taking the Terra Nova tests. There is no way for the students to prepare for the tests, but please make sure they come to school well rested, and having eaten an nutritious breakfast.
