Here’s what is going on with our wonderful fifth grades:
Spelling: Test Friday.
S.S.: Chapter 3 test Wed. 10/8 Being Chapter 4: Contact and Exploration: Test 10/24
ELA: Reading: Double Dutch.
Grammar: Nouns.
Writing: Prewriting a Fictional Narrative. Final copy of dialogue due Tuesday.
We will be taking an assessment on Friday that will cover what we have done in grammar so far.(Types of sentences, complete sentences, nouns, proper nouns.)
Bible : We have finished reading The Chalk Box Kid and will be responding to it in writing. We will be creating a friendship bulletin board with both classes. Verse test: Thursday, Oct 9: Matthew 6:33 Please assist your child with studying the verse and being ready to explain in writing what the verse is saying to them.
