News from Mrs. Heigl, Librarian ……

PLEASE HELP TRINITY LUTHERAN LIBRARY!

Trinity Lutheran School’s library plays a critical role in increasing literacy among students, assisting teachers with their curriculum, and contributing to your child’s lifelong joy of reading.

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?

There simply is not enough money in the budget to fill our library with the books our students and teachers need for reading and research. With your help, we can purchase new library materials for our children!

WHEN DOES THE FUNDRAISING BEGIN?

Our campaign begins October 1 and runs through March 31, 2015.

HOW MUCH OF YOUR DONATION GOES TOWARDS FUNDRAISING?

100% of your donations will help fund new library materials for our students.

WHERE CAN I DONATE?

Funds 4 Books is an easy way to donate to our library.  Just visitwww.funds4books.com and enter our school code a7b7.  You can donate online via credit card, or mail a check to Mackin Books.

You may contact me with any questions at 516-931-2211 Ext.205 or eMail me at <[email protected]>

All the students and staff at Trinity thank you for your help.

Blessings,

Mrs. Eileen Heigl

Librarian

Emergency Cards
Emergency Cards were mailed to all homes over the summer.  If you have not done so, please return the yellow emergency cards ASAP.  It is important to have contact information for your children in the office.
PLUS
Parents are reminded  that students not picked up immediately from an after school activity MUST go to PLUS, Trinity’s aftercare program.  This is a safety requirement for your child.  Parents will be billed accordingly.  This includes all students K-8.
Absences
For the safety of your child, we ask that you notify the school office by 9:00 a.m.if he/she is going to be absent.  You can call our AutoAttendant @516 931-2211 and press option 8.
PTFA News
