Take a look at our completed Flat Stanley project! Your friends and family members helped us greatly by sending the Stanleys back with great pictures and facts about the places they visited. The students had so much fun sharing their letters and pictures.
Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!
Math– The students have been working on solving two-step word problems involving dollars and cents with totals within $100 or $1. This week they will take a test on Wednesday on everything they have learned about dollars, coins and problem solving.
Reading- We will be doing a project on a book we read together called Inch and Miles The Journey to Success. Please ask your children about this story. They really enjoyed it and it has so many great lessons in it!
LA- We will be reviewing everything we learned since the beginning of the year in Language Arts.
Science- We will be completing a review sheet on chapter 9 and taking a test on Thursday.
SS– We will be continue reviewing the 50 states and complete a map project. Next week the students will have a labeling quiz on all of the states!

Reminders
The K-5 picnic will be this Friday, June 13th. If the picnic has to be cancelled due to weather, you will receive a call from the school’s alert system. If there is rain, students will come to school at the regular time in their T-shirts.
