Last Thursday we had so much fun exploring the Whaling Museum in Cold Spring Harbor. The highlights of our trip were having a scavenger hunt, shopping in the gift shop, watching a movie on whales and carving a scrimshaw box.
Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!
Math– We will begin Module 7 by drawing and labeling picture graphs to represent data with up to four categories.
Reading- To continue our voyage under the sea we will be reading The Magic Tree House book Dolphins at Daybreak.
LA- We will be learning about where to place quotation marks and reviewing what we already know about adverbs.
Science- We will be learning where energy comes from and how living things use energy.
SS– We will be reviewing for our Unit 5 test on Thursday.
