Hello Everyone! Just a few quick updates for a quick week:
8th Social Studies
Eighth Grade will take their test on the Great Depression on Wednesday. A link to the study guide may be found in last week’s post. We will also do a brief study of World War II before reviewing for final exams.
7th Social Studies
Seventh Grade is studying Chapter 11, which is focusing on the Industrial Revolution and the differences that developed between the North and the South. This chapter will lead up to the separation during the Civil War, which is where we will begin in September.
8AA Religion
This week we continue to study the Old Testament Kings of Israel and Judah. This week we are focusing on Ahaz and Hezekiah. The memory verse for this week is 1 Peter 2:21, which can be found on page 85 in the student book.
