This week in the nursery classes we are doing:
Art: A Mother’s Day card, stamping a hungry caterpillar using a potato and coloring an old lady who swallows many funny things!
Jesus Time: We are singing lots of Jesus songs as we practice for our closing program. We will talk about honoring thy father and thy mother, commandment # 5.
Math: Number 3 & 4 worksheet. Number review.
Stories: There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly by Simms Taback, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman.
Science: We are watching our Mother’s Day gifts grow. The caterpillars in Mrs. Krass’ class have gone to sleep in their cocoons. Ms. Dugan should be receiving her caterpillars any day now.
Movement to Music: Bean bag song with number bean bags and the butterfly song.
Gross Motor Skills: Outdoor playground with balls.

6/9 Closing program @ 9:15 am.
6/13 Last day of class for ECC
