Welcome back from Easter break! I hope everyone had a restful week off! We are in the final 7 week stretch of the school year, but we’re not slowing down yet!
For art this week we will be marble painting an Earth for Earth Day, which was April 22 and we will be working on our “April Showers Bring May Flowers” mobile.
Some stories that we will be reading will include: Our Earth by Anne Rockwell, The Earth and I by Frank Asch, and Where Does All the Garbage Go by Melvin Berger
During Jesus time we will be talking about the miracle of Jesus Resurrection on Easter. We will read God’s Easter Plan by Carol Greene and My Happy Easter Book an Arch Book
We hope that the weather will be nice so we can go outside to the playground and play with the balls and the chalk!
Some important dates coming up:
May 19th we will have our class picnic at Cantiague Park (rain date May 21st)
June 9th at 9:15 will be our closing program
June 13th will be the last day of class for ECC
