6th-This week the sixth grade have filled up their “frijoles” or beans jar. As a result, we will celebrate with a fiesta. Students will also watch the movie Frozen: Una Aventura Congelada. Also, students will discuss “La semana santa” from Spain and other countries in Latin America.

7th-This week the seventh grade will review the vocabulary of “la casa.” They too have filled up their bean jar and will receive una fiesta.
8th-The eighth grade will finish their unit on professions. They will have a quiz tomorrow. Extra help will be tomorrow at 7:45am. Students will need to review “Empleos y ocupaciones” packet (page 3) and review packet (page 3). Students must know how to define the words in Spanish.
Students will also study “La semana santa” of Spain and Latin American countries.
