In case you haven’t already heard, we were all smiles in 2AA last Wednesday when we celebrated filling our good behavior jar with a taco party!!! After reading the book Dinosaurs Love Tacos our class decided that once we filled the tile jar of good behavior we would have a taco party. The students enjoyed reading the story and listening to it on tape while munching on some delicious tacos. They are already thinking up what their next reward will be!

Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!

Math– On Wednesday the students will have a mid-module assessment on Module 6. Many of the students did extremely well on the review packet for this assessment, which the test will mirror. We will also continue module 6 this week by using math drawings to develop spatial reasoning.

Reading- We will be reading the first Flat Stanley chapter book in class this week. Later this week the students will come home with the first part of their Flat Stanley project, which they are very excited about.

Science- This week the students will be creating a pamphlet on the stages of matter.
