During the month of February and the beginning of March we have been discussing the importance of Heart Health in Physical Education class. We have participated in many activities that would aid in keeping our hearts healthy. The K-8 classes are all taking part in the Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart activity which is sponsored by the American Heart Association. Trinity Lutheran School is trying to do our part to raise money for the American Heart Association. The money we are able to raise will go to aid in valuable research to help children with various heart conditions. Please consider making a small donation to this very worthwhile cause and organization. If you need further information regarding how to donate please let me know. All donations are due on March 28, 2014.

In all of our classes we are also concentrating on various skills, such as, throwing accuracy, dodging, and catching. As always we continue to stress teamwork and encourage every student to do their very best.

The fifth through eighth grade classes also just completed a volleyball unit where we focused on the different skills of volleyball.
