Happy St. Patrick’s Day and Happy Spring! We had so much fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with our green days. We ate lots of green snacks, such as, green eggs and ham, green mint ice cream and green grapes. A big thank you to all the families that helped us with our special snacks!

This week in the nursery classes we are:

Art : Working on our number books and completing rodeo projects. The  leprechauns we took home this week had a great head of “green hair”.

Stories: Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, The Luckiest St. Patrick’s Day Ever! by Teddy Slater and

Math: Snowman number sheet and number book. We are singing our alligator counting song which helps us with counting and number recognition.

Science: We are discussing and observing weather and the signs of spring which begins this Thursday. Hooray! We can’t wait to get outside and play!

Jesus Time: We are discussing the season of Lent and learning The Lord’s Prayer.

Gross Motor skills: We are practicing for our rodeo with scooters, chin up bar,  hula hoops and movement to music songs.
