Hello everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed the brief taste of Spring this past weekend. Here is the news for this week:

8th Social Studies

On Wednesday, Eighth grade will take their test on Chapter 21, World War I. The study guide can be found here. On Thursday, we will all be gathering at school bright and early, as we will be on the road to Washington, D.C. by 7:00 a.m. Packets with the complete itinerary and hotel information were sent home before the February break, but if you have any further questions, please feel free to send me an email. Mrs. Simone, Ms. Mazza, Mr. Stainkamp, and I will be chaperoning,  and we are all looking forward to a fantastic trip!

7th Social Studies

On Tuesday, Seventh grade will take their test on Chapter 7, Creating the Constitution. You may view and/or print the study guide here. The students will then work on an in-class project illustrating the freedoms guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. Before we continue with the history portion of Social Studies, the students will do a brief study of U. S. citizenship: how one becomes a citizen, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, et cetera.

8AA Religion

This week we will be studying the book of Ruth, and the lessons to be learned from this extraordinary portion of scripture. Due to the trip later this week, there will be no memory quiz.
