I have had what seems to be a short- yet powerful verse rattling around in my head for a few days:

But the angel said,” Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer.” Luke 1:13

I have been thinking about how often I send up my prayers and petitions and really don’t expect God to do anything, or how I pray and don’t really believe God is hearing me because it seems He is not working quite to my liking. This verse reminds me that God has a plan for me and He will continue to work through the events and circumstances in my life and bring me to Him. It gentle reassures me that He is hearing me. I can rely on Him being there and need not be afraid. Just a thought…..

Have a great week….Be safe in the snow and cold weather!!!                             Mrs. Lively
