6th grade-This week sixth grade finished their country presentations. Students worked very hard, their countries  were well researched and their poster boards were creatively represented their assigned countries. Thank you to all the wonderful parents for your support on this project. I am very proud of every student for taking time to work diligently on their project and for delivery interesting and insightful presentations.

Tuesday- Worksheet on “la familia de Antonio y Josefa”.

Wednesday-No school (Snow Day)

Friday- Worksheet from workbook on “el árbol de la familia.”

7th grade-This week the seventh grade started the unit “En el café.” Students will review food and beverage vocabulary  from the previous year as well as learn new vocabulary specifically pertaining to the café. Students will learn how to order and how to take orders in a café setting.

Tuesday-3x each for “en el café” vocabulary

Wednesday-No school (Snow day)

Thursday- Dialogue 5 lines in using a “en el café” vocabulary. 

Friday-worksheet p.144 (activity A,B,C)

8th grade-This week eight grade started their chapter on the house. Students will learn how to identify the parts of the house and the furniture. Students will also revisit their family vocabulary to further describe what role family members occupy in the home.

Wednesday-Snow Day (No school)

Thursday-Write a description of the illustration (see worksheet) using the house vocabulary.
