Last week, we took some time to discuss how God gives us each different strengths and talents. We then shared what we saw to be each other’s strengths. This cross now hangs on our classroom door to remind us that together we are one.cross

Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!

Math– We will continue to add with regrouping into the hundreds.

Reading- Last week we read a folktale that the students really enjoyed. This week we are continuing to read various folktales from around the world. We are focusing on the skill of making predictions while we read.

LA- We are reviewing Verbs for our Unit 3 test on Friday.

Science- To continue our Earth Science Unit, we will be talking about how people can use plants and how the Earth can change.

SS– We are discussing Martin Luther King Jr. and what we can do to make the world a better place.

Religion- The story of “Elijah and the Ravens” will help us explore how God provides for us.
