Week of 1/17/14
Math: There will be a percents unit test on 1/23/14. We will being doing a project in class this week that will be graded as a test. The project will be on real life applications dealing with sales tax, discounts, mark-ups, and population changes.
In math this week we will cover: – applied percent of increase – real life applications (sales tax, tip, discounts, mark-ups)
Science: There will be a vocabulary quiz on 1/17/14. The vocabulary quiz will have all words from Chapter 7. There will be a Chapter 7 test on 1/24/14.
In science this week we will cover: – buoyant force – fluids and motion
