Check out 2AA’s life cycle drawings! Last week we reviewed everything we learned about life cycles and the students used their creativity and artistic abilities to draw life cycles of various living things.
Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!
Math– We will continue Module 4 in which the students will add and subtract multiples of ten within 100 and solve word problems using strategies based on place value.
Reading- The students will take a short quiz on the Horrible Harry book we completed last week. Then we will be reading Nine in One Grr! Grr! from the reading series.
LA- We are working on our expository writing pieces as we finish up Unit 3. The students will be writing pieces where they have to give directions to their favorite celebrity.
Science- We will introduce the first chapter of the Earth Science Unit. Chapter 5 will teach the students about life on Earth, Land and Water. The students will learn about natural resources this week.
SS– We are reviewing our History Unit in preparation for our test on Thursday.
Religion- The story of “Solomon builds a Temple” will help us explore how God dwells within us.
