This Week in Art:
***All K-8 Students will be bringing home their art work from the school year during the first week of June.
PreK students will be creating a bird’s nest out of a painted paper plate.
Kindergarten is learning about primary and secondary colors.
Gr. 1 is reviewing primary and secondary colors by mixiing and painting their turtle color wheels.
Gr. 2 is using both primary and secondary colors to create a chameleon collage.
Gr. 3 is learning about the famous blown glass sculpturist Dale Chihuly. They will create a mini macchia inspired by the artist.
Gr. 4 learned about the artist Michelangelo and will create a “faux” fresco painting.
Gr. 5 will be creating a patriotic construcion paper collage.
Gr. 6 will be finishing up their Music/Art illustrations.
Gr. 7 continues work on their one point perspective circle cities.
Gr. 8 will start work on their colored construction paper collages.
Art Elective class is not meeting this week due to the Teacher’s Conference.
