Please enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with your family and friends. Mrs. Krass’ class is thankful for all the wonderful gifts God has given us. Ms. Dugan’s class is thankful for Jesus and families.
This week in nursery:
We have been singing and dancing to turkey songs, such as, The Turkey Wobble, The Turkey Stroll and The Thanksgiving Song. We are completing our many turkey art projects and preparing for our feast which will be on Tuesday/Wednesday. We will be baking corn muffins and making homemade butter for our feast. The students and teachers are looking forward to our classroom celebration. Just like the Pilgrim and Native American children did long ago, we will be playing games ( pin the wattle on the turkey) after our feast.
This week our color books were sent home. Please review the colors as you read this book with your child. We are continuing with our do-a-dot letters and Before I Write pages.
Jesus Time: We made our very own Advent wreath. The students are learning that the wreath is to remind us that Jesus is coming. The Advent season is a special time for all of us to remember God is with us always.
