Dear Parents,
We hope you enjoyed Easter and had a good Easter break. We missed the children and we cannot wait to get back to work. We are in the homestretch with only seven weeks more left of the school year. We have a lot of fun things in store for the children.
This week will learn the letter “N” for nest. The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter “N”. We will also begin our unit on butterflies. Over the next two weeks, the children will learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and watch them transform from caterpillars to butterflies. Once we have butterflies in our classroom, we will release them in the playground.
Over break, we celebrated Earth Day and Arbor Day. The children learned about the importance of both days before break, but we will review what each day represents and we will make some fun crafts.
Deacon Waldeck will lead chapel for us on Wednesday. For religion, we will talk about how Jesus appeared to two disciples. Library books are due on Thursday and Friday. Please return your book in order to borrow a new one.
Have a Blessed Day!
Miss Seleena and Miss Ava
